The Black Pearls
The story is about the young man who ready to sacrifice his life for a person who changed his life. There was a kind young man named Naadal. He is a roadside seller who was selling sea jewels made of sea shells and pearls. Naadal was an ocean person and he can go underneath a water and hold his breath for a long time so every fisherman took him with them to the deep water to take the rare pearls. Everyone misuses him because he doesn’t know about the value of the pearl and offer him a little money and give him useless pearls and seashell. Naadal get the money with happiness because he was the person who believes that the expectations destroy happiness. Naadal has no family and he lives alone in a tunnel near the sea. The tunnel was his home and he was so happy to live there and made the tunnel look like a house by decorating with the old things which he got from the old stuff shop and also, he always loves to wear black clothes. His everyday routine was to sell the jewels on the roadside and earn money for his food and to buy clothes. One day while he selling his jewels a red car stopped next to him and the car window turned down a little. Naadal was mesmerized to see the beautiful eyes of a young girl but not her face. The car front door opens and a guard came outside and asked for a pearls bangle and after getting the guard offered him twice the amount of money that he asked for. But the girl eyes were looking at naadal that make him to fall for her. Every night Naadal comes to the sea shore and take a nap in the ocean mud in the moon light that makes him feel like he was sleeping in his mother’s lap. While seeing the moon the girl eyes where explicit through his imagination. At the time he realized that he soulfully fallen for her. Every day he waits for the car and the girl buy something from him. One day Nadal took his favourite black pearl jewel which has 100 pearls with the one moon shaped seashell which he never wants to sell to anyone else. One day as usual the car came naadal asked her that he wish to see her face but the guard pushed him away from the car and he fell down. The car door opened slightly and a beautiful girl helped naadal to stand up and warned the guard not to hurt anyone. Naadal was so stunned to look at the girl's face. The girl smiled at naadal and introduced herself that her name was Naidah. Naidah was a girl who belongs to a rich family. Naadal gifted his favourite black pearl knotted jewels to naidah.
After
that naadal and naidah became friends. Naidah spends her time with naadal every
day and her guard stay with them and started to like naadal because even
though naidah was a rich girl she was so lonely
because his parents never cared about her growth,
they only cared about earning money. One-night naidah and naadal were spending time with each
other naidah asked naadal about the necklace made of
black jewel that she had never seen before.
Naadal told her about the sea work which he
was doing that he could go underneath the water. When he was collecting pearls underwater, he goes deep into the
ocean and collected the black pearls and hide
them from the working man’s and he made them
into beautiful jewels. Naadal also said he loves black colour so I just owned it for myself. Naidah was so
concern about naadal to be safe and encouraged him he has a good talent because
no one can survive under deep water for a long time. The next day as usual
Nadal waited for naidah but she wasn’t arrived. Naadal was so disappointed and
the other day the guard visited naadal tunnel with
the naidah’s parents and patrol. naadal invited them happily but naidah’s
father slapped him and asked for naidah. The
guard supported naadal that he was innocent and told naadal that naidah was
gone from yesterday night so he thought she was
here. Naidah's father shouted and cursed him with the
words by telling him “You are just like the mud and you can’t touch the moon
and even the sky, just see your place you are nothing and don’t ever talk to my
daughter after this” he scolded him and left the place. With the broken heart
naadal went to the sea shore and he cried by saying he is nothing and shouted
at the sky that he is nothing but mud. The sea is full of darkness because the
moon was closed by the dark clouds makes
naadal feel that naidah was in danger. He ran to her home. Naidah home were filled with guards and patrols.
naadal realize the situation that naidah was not returned home. Naadal was so
frustrated that he going to loss naidah and knee down in the middle of the road
in the night. Suddenly the dark clouds were moved the moon light touches the
ground and a little sparkle came from the road which was reflected from the
moon light flashed on his face. Naadal was so confused to see what is dazzling
on the road. He walked and took that thing and shocked that it was a black
pearl from the necklace he gifted to naidah. At the time he himself promised
that he would find naidah. He collected each pearl in a pouch and
followed sparkles on the road where the pearls had fallen. After the road end its was a sea shore and he found the 99
th pearl. when he takes the pearl in his hand and he lost his hope that there is
ocean in front of him and looked at the moon with tears in his eyes. suddenly
the clouds split away from the moon and the moon light directs him to a huge
ship far away from him. His heart tells that naidah was there in the ship so he
took a little boat from the sea shore and tied the pouch in his hip and travelled
to the ship with the help of moon light. When he arrived the ship, he climbed the
ship and went inside the huge ship and there is lot of rich people were
celebrating parties. He took the servant dress to pretend himself as a servant
and walked inside. He searched floor by floor in the ship but he can’t able to
find naidah. When he was searching for her, he saw a light from a room in
the sky which is opposite to his side. So, he ran to
the room and opened the door. Naidah was so happy to see him and hugged him tightly.
At Same time the some strange guys arrived and
beaten naadal . Later they were handed over to
the man who was the Business enemy of naidah’s father and he wants to kill
naidah’s for revenge for his father who
destroyed his business for personal reasons. He ordered their guards and
tied naadal with 5
tons of stone and pushed him into the ocean. While falling naadal gave the
pouch which had the black pearls to naidah’s hand.
By seeing all this naidah was so shocked and cried for naadal . Inside the
water naadal were drowned under the deep sea and
lost his conscious. After a while naidah shouted against the man and the man
shot naidah in her chest and she fell into the
sea. Naidah slowly drowned. The moonlights fallen ino the towards Naadal
suddenly he wokes up and untied his knots over
him and swim towards naidah. He hold her in his arms and swim back to the boat and travelled to the sea shore
and naidah was looking unconscious with bleeding. Naadal cried and started to wake her up but there was no reaction from naidah. Later everyone came and took naidah from naadal and police officers
arrested him. After one week passed naadal was released from prison and he was so worried about the person who loves him a lot is
naidah but now there is no one. He cried on
the road in the middle of the night. A moon light fallen on him when he looks up the sky
naidah is standing in front of him he was so shocked and hugged naidah with
tears and naidah showed the moon shaped sea shell which has little crack on it from bullet
shot and saved her life and her father asked sorry to him and also thanked him.
But after seeing naidah, naadal gave naidah’s hands to her father’s hands and
told him that you were right she was a moon and I’m the mud. naadal told
naidah’s father that he is not the person who belongs to her and walked out with tears. naidah's smiles faded after hearing those
words from naadal and paid silent. suddenly
Naidah stopped naadal by saying “your forgotten your pouch filled with black
pearls which is hundred million dollars worth”. And opened the pouch through the moon light
the black pearls were dazzled. And she told naadal that he is not the mud he is
a pearl which the moon longing for and hugged him with tears. The moon light
flashed on them and naadal thanked the moon with eyes full of tears and story
ends in a happy way.
